I like this poster, and the concept — yes — but can we please add that a gender strike necessarily involves a refusal to fuck and care for cis men? Cuz patriarchal power rests on the right to sexual access to women, a right that undergirds sexual violence and serves as the condition of possibility for unwaged work. Even consensual sex is arranged within this patriarchal logic of sex-right; a general NO to sex with cis men could bring this underlying framework into view.

Agreed! I recently attended a talk on Gender Strike, but it was to discuss what one would look like. I think what you are saying here is component. Was this an actual event? What do you think a Gender Strike could be?
